Adventist Health System was several years into using an EMR when the clinicians were reporting that they wanted to go to one place to see the clinical picture of the patient. Coupled with a documentation redesign, TrainingWheel facilitated implementation of a “ClinPic” which gave that one view snapshot of the patient in time. Physicians have expressed that this is one of the most helpful tools used in their daily rounding. It has become a critical tool to communicate elements supporting CPOE processes.
